USES OF FOLITRAX LP GEL

• Psoriasis
• Active rheumatoid arthritis in adults (a complex auto-immune disorder resulting in the inflammation of the bones leading to swelling and pain)FOLITRAX LP GEL contains Methotrexate which belongs to the group of medicines called Antimetabolites. It is used to manage psoriasis. FOLITRAX LP GEL is also used to manage active rheumatoid arthritis in adults, which is a complex auto-immune disorder resulting in the inflammation of the bones leading to swelling and pain. This medicine may also be used for vitiligo.

  Psoriasis is a skin condition characterized by itchy scales that are not responsive to conventional treatments such as phototherapy and retinoids. Vitiligo is a skin condition characterized by a loss of pigmentation, resulting in the appearance of discolored patches on the skin.

  Before using FOLITRAX LP GEL, it is recommended to inform the doctor about your medical and family history, including the list of medicines (prescription, non-prescription medicines, and herbal medicines) that are being used or taken.

  FOLITRAX LP GEL is not recommended to be used by children less than 3 years of age, pregnant women, nursing women, or women planning to get pregnant. Consult your doctor before using the medicine.
